VDSL+ has been designed as an adjunct to ADSL+ in Canberra.  With much higher download speeds than ADSL+, VDSL+ is ideal for most business-grade applications.  However the VDSL+ network still runs with a contention ratio of 10:1.  This means that for business-grade applications that absolutely must be assured of dedicated bandwidth, consideration should be given to xHDSL+ or Fastnet+ instead.  But for most types of traffic on your private information superhighway, VDSL+ is the most cost-effective solution available.
